"All Your Exes" by Julia Michaels
I feel like Julia Michaels may well be a one hit wonder in front of a microphone, she's really had nothing solo since "Issues"...yeah she had that insipid "If The World Was Ending" with JP Saxe last year but otherwise she's been releasing music without a lot of attention until this song and unfortunately Michaels is the worst part about this song because I really honest like the rock pop instrumental here but Michaels has none of the visceral power or edge in her vocal delivery to give the song the attitude it needs to really work, she sounds like she's singing in front of a completely different flatter instrumental so yeah points for the instrumental but that's about it.

"Godzilla" by The Veronicas.
Well this is a bit more like it! The Veronicas find their way to a rock sound with a song that could easily belong on their debut album and unlike Julia Michaels, Jess and Lisa Origlasso sound fantastic on this song. Yeah, the lyrics are a bit benarle but this considerably better than anything The Veronicas have done in the recent past, I love how wild the guitars are, they remind me of Hole at times. This is pretty damn great...check it out!

"Flesh and Blood" by Jimmy Barnes
Most Americans know him as the screaming cowboy in the sky in the video for Kirin J. Callinan's "Big Enough" alongside Alex Cameron and Molly Lewis but Jimmy has a new album coming in July of 2021 with this being the lead single from it and while it's not as good as the best songs from :"My Criminal Record" ("Shutting Down Our Town" is still a great song), I still like this a fair bit because for thing it plays toward heartland rock territory and Jimmy sounds good here...not bad at all...check it out if you are curious.

"Dancing With The Devil" by Demi Lovato
So the one thing I've gotten lately from the recent and pretty unsuccessful stream of singles in recent months from her which according to her fans can be blamed on her label's poor promotion of her music (I pin some of it to the songs not being good) but anyway this new song is one that's from her new album being released tomorrow and it's not bad, it reminds me a bit of "Expectations" by Lauren Jauregui in terms of its production, its classy and yet still gives room to Demi's vocals. The lyrics hint at the hell and back Demi has gone through over the past couple of years so yeah I am definitely curious for the album. Nice job.
