So again this week felt a little slow because yet again the top two haven't changed with "One Of Us" by Joan Osborne number one for a fifth week, now it's looking a bit shaky with signs that sales are slowing for this song but whether it's enough for "Missing" by Everything But the Girl, who stayed at number two, to take number 1is open question.
Perhaps the big threat is "How Bizarre" by OMC which went up one place to number three pushing "Spaceman" by Babylon Zoo back to number four.
Continuing it's gains from last week, "Father and Son" by Boyzone jumped two places to number 5.
"Get Down On It' by Peter Andre feat. Past and Present dropped back one place to number six and it looks headed for the top ten exit.
We have a new entry at number seven this week with 2Pace feat. Dr Dre's "California Love". Now given this song's release has come post 2pac being released from prison, I suspect this song could be huge especially in the US.
3T's :"Anything" jumped two places to number eight.
"Power of a Woman" by Eternal is stuck at number nine for a second week.
Faith continues to be lost as "Have a Little Faith in Us" by John Farnham slps four places to number ten.
Gains.
Alanis Morissette jumped from 27 to 14 this week to be the week's biggest gainer. Other than that though, it was a very quiet week for big gains.
Re-Entry
Garbage have the week's one re-entry with "Stupid Girl" at 49.
Losers
Deep Blue Something suffered big time with "Breakfast at Tiffany's" down from 11 to 25. Tina Arena's "That's the Way a Woman feels" slipped from 32 to 40.
New Entries.
Already mentioned "California Love" by 2Pac feat. Dr Dre arriving in the top ten at number 7 so what else new turned up this week?
Well, you have to go all the way down to 36 to find Rage Against the Machine's new single "Bulls n Parade".
Max-A-Million find healing with a cover of Marvin Gaye's smah hit "Sexual Healing" at number 45 and finally Bon Jovi finish the new entries with their new single "These Days" at number 46.
That wraps up the Australian chart but let's have a look at what's making moves on the US and UK singles chart.with their top 5s

In the US, it's Celine Dion spending her third week at number one with "Because You Loved Me", (watch for that song here!), it's holding off the new entry from Mariah Carey "Always Be My Baby" (already on the chart here), Tony Rich slipped to number three as a result with "Nobody Knows".
R. Kelly has teamed up with Ronald Isley for "Down Low (Nobody Has to Know)" which remained at number four this week. Alanis Morisette has broken into the top 5 up one place to number 6 with "Ironic"
United Kingdom (Official Charts)
The Prodigy hold down the number one spot for a third week with "Firestarter". Mark Snow's :"The X Files" remains at number two this week.
Mark Morrison has leapt one place from last week to land at number three with "Return of the Mack" while Robert Miles drops to number four with "Children" and the UK's Eurovision song contest entrant Aussie Gina G's "Ooh Ahh....Just A Little Bit" jumps one place to number 5.
